AL AJLLAN AJLLAN IBRAHIM A is a 56 year old male. Four years ago, sharp pain developed in his left leg with no obvious causes. The pain extended from the waist to the left leg and persisted for 10-15 minutes. Then there was a feeling of weakness in the left leg. Soon after this, the symptoms rapidly progressed. Al Ajllan went to Germany and France for treatment options. After the physical examination, he was diagnosed with ALS. The symptoms continued to worsen and all four limbs developed weakness. He couldn't walk for one year and had to use a wheelchair. About four months ago, he developed problems with his speech, difficulty swallowing, difficulty breathing as well as problems with switching his body positions. He also mentioned feeling a burning sensation in his feet.

AL Ajllan was alert and his mental faculties were good. His memory, calculation abilities and orientation were normal. The convergence ability of the right eye was poor. There was atrophy in the lingualis muscle, but the movement of the tongue was flexible. There was severe muscle atrophy throughout the body. The muscle strength of both arms was level 2- and the gripping strength of both hands was level 2+. Both thumbs had flexible movements. The muscle strength of both hands reached level 3-. The muscle strength of both legs was between level 0 and level 1. The muscle tone of all four limbs was low. The tendon reflexes of all four limbs were not elicited. The bilateral abdominal reflex was not elicited. The bilateral Babinski's sign was negative. Al Ajllan had difficulty with the finger-to-nose test, the rapid rotation test, the digit opposition test and the heel-knee-shin test of both legs.

After the initial examination, Al Ajllan was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, type 2 diabetes, HLP (hyperlipemia), and HHCY-C hyperhomocysteinemia. He had his nutritional intake improved and was put on non-invasive mechanical assisted ventilation. He underwent autologous stem cell treatment which included nerve nutrition, improved cerebral blood circulation and strengthening of the immune system. He was also given daily physical rehabilitation training to promote the recovery of the motor functioning.

After the completion of the stem cell treatment, Al Ajllan's blood sugar level was stable. The fasting blood glucose had been controlled at 4-5mmol/l. The postprandial blood glucose was 7-8mmol/l. The burning sensation in both feet had been alleviated. Al Ajllan is now able to breathe easier and can breathe better while lying down. His speech is clearer and he can speak louder. The gripping strength of the right hand increased to level 4. The muscle volume of the right arm's biceps and muscles of the right hand has increased.

Six months after leaving our medical center, his family emailed us and expressed their gratitude for the treatment Al Ajllan received and was happy for the improvements they saw with his condition. They plan on staying in touch and thanked the medical staff for everything they did.
